Char Grilled O’Lentil Steak with Peppercorn Sauce

2 x 150g steaks cut from the O’Lentil original chub

150g green peppercorn sauce (see recipe)

Garlic oil (see recipe)




Season and rub O’Lentil  steak in garlic oil

Preheat a char grill pan very hot, place the O’Lentil in the pan and grill both sides ensuring the O’Lentil is well branded – 2 to 3 minutes each side – and hot

To serve

Place the O’Lentil steak on a plate and serve with green peppercorn sauce, galette potato, honey glazed carrots and asparagus

Points to watch

Ensure the cooking temperature reaches 75oc
