O’Lentil in Tomato and Black Olive Sauce

Amount  two persons


  • 160g of O’Lentil “Slice & Dice” 20mm chunks
  • 200g tomato sauce (see recipe)
  • 25g garlic oil (see recipe)
  • 25g chopped onion
  • 25g black olives stoned and sliced
  • 10g basil shredded
  • Seasoning


In a large flat pan fry the onion in garlic oil until soft, add the O’Lentil and black olives and toss well

Pour on the sauce, add basil and season with care. Cook for 5 minutes

Ensure O’Lentil reaches a serving temperature of 75oc

To serve

Can be served with pasta, rice, as a topping for pizza and it also makes a good base for lasagne with the white vegetable sauce (see recipe)

Point to watch 

If you like the dish a little more moist add some vegetable stock or water.
