O’Lentil Pasties

Ingredients

  • 2 x 6 inch(150mm) pastry discs
  • 150g original O’Lentil”Slice & Dice”
  • 50g diced potatoes and carrot cooked in boiling water
  • 25g peas cooked
  • 25g chopped onion
  • Seasoning black pepper

Method

In a food processor lightly chop the the O’Lentil “Slice & Dice” and place in a bowl with onion, potato, carrot and peas. Mix to a paste and season with care with black pepper. Taste for flavour balance

Fill the pasties with the mix and fold into pasty shape and bake in oven at 180c until golden brown, about15 minutes.

To Serve

The pasties go well with vegetarian gravy (see recipe) or serve cold with sweet pickle

Point to watch

The pasties need to have a good pepper taste
