O’lentil Vegetarian Pate

Amount 4 persons


  • 30g olive oil
  • 50g onion, chopped
  • 1 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 350g of  O’lentil “Slice & dice”cut into dice
  • 25g walnuts chopped (optional)
  • 100g cooked chick peas
  • Seasoning
  • Chopped chives


Pan fry the onions and garlic in olive oil, add the walnuts, chick peas, and O’lentil, toss well, and cook for 5 minutes

Place in Food processer and reduce to a puree, season with care, place in small dishes.  Chill well

To serve 

Place on plate with toast, offer orange and cranberry sauce (see recipe), and water cress salad

Point to watch 

Keep the pate thick and spreadable
